16K Living Room Makeover

This 16K Living Room Makeover was inspired by two of my favorite designers. A neutral color scheme was used which can be changed up by adding in pop colored pillows. The mixed metal design trend we are seeing these days is shown which pairs silver and gold together for an elevated look. If you thought you had to choose just one metal finish you don’t!

Here is a room we designed using many of the pieces above. The difference in the actual room is instead of the higher-priced drapery panels we used panels from HomeGoods and Zgallerie to create the same look. The faux hide rug was purchased from World Market again to keep costs down. Through this series of blog posts, I’ll be high lighting ways you can achieve a higher-end look by mixing hi and lo priced items. Similar to the way you curate a look with your fashion wardrobe it’s ok to do the same in your Home Design. Each room should speak to your own personality and make you happy in the end!
